george caldwell - bass
For George, his recent accomplishments include an
appearance in the International Blues Challenge
representing The Blues Society In Taiwan. The Joey
Gilmore Band, in which George was the man on bass and
vocals, outscored all bands worldwide while showcasing
their amazing talent at a blues industry event as the "best
unsigned band on the planet." George co-wrote several of
the songs on Joey Gilmore's latest CD "The Ghosts Of
Mississippi Meet The Gods Of Africa". George has two CD's
out on Wells Records of his jazz material and a new CD of
Blues on the Bluzpik Rederdz label in 2005

George Caldwell has performed in the Florida Atlantic
University Jazz Band, Miami Dade CC Jazz Band, and
Sunrise Pops. Now a mainstay with Big Poppa E and the E
Band, George has backed up Jon Secada, Gwen McCray
and Taylor Dane among others.
ROBERT SLADE LeMONT - drums
Formerly of the American rock band Nuclear Valdez from
Miami, Robert has done an MTV promo spot with video
director Paula Grief.  He has performed on an early
episode of MTV Unplugged with Members of The Alarm
and opened for numerous groups that came through the
groups home base in Miami: Living Colour, Jane's
Addiction, Dead Milkmen, Ronnie Wood, Hoodoo Gurus,
among others.  The band did an extensive tour of the USA
opening up for The Hooters followed by an intensive
European tour as the supporting act for The Church.  Song
"Dance Where The Bullets Fly" from the second album is
used in one of the season finales of Melrose Place.

FELIPE LAMOGLIA - TENOR SAX
Felipe Lamoglia is a Grammy-winning artist from Cuba, a
saxophonist, composer and arranger, he was born in
Holguin starting his Saxophone classes at age of 9 , at the
Vocasional of arts. He also studied in Camaguey with
Alfred Thompson and Roberto Benitez, moving to the
Superior Institute of Art (ISA) in 1990 having two years
classes with Miguel Villafruela . By the age of 18 he was a
member of Cuba’s acclaimed band, NG La Banda. In
1992 he moved to Brazil where he lived for seven years,
absorbing the country’s musical and spiritual wealth and
playing with great artists such as Raul de Souza, Arismar
do Espirito Santo , Cuca Teixeira, Michel Leme, Sandro
Haick, Pepe Cisneros and others, also With Bocato he
recorded two albums and participated in the Montreux
Jazz Festival. While in Brazil, Felipe founded together with
Pepe Cisneros, Tuto Ferraz and Mario Caribe the quartet,
Tumbao.
